Bit of a nip in the atmosphere?

God, trev, have you no male friends? Are you one of those types - every friend is a prospective f*ck? Seems like it... That's pretty unhealthy, man.
Re: India
They were actually selling 'Nips' biscuits in the gift shop. No joke.

Plenty of male friends but none of them in Singapore at the moment.

Fair dues? F**k, I've spent all these years thinking it was "fair does". What a dick I've been.

Re: India
Sometimes a player just needs to move away from a County that he's been associated with since he was about 12, and basically been given a pretty free ride (Particularly in Maynard Jnr's case). Get ouf of the comfort zone etc.
If it works out for him, then good luck to the lad. Ultimately, playing for England should be the ultimate goal.

Aye, usually I lob the misconceived do's in just because I think it sounds better.
But it's all much of a muchness nowadays... since the internet started no-one gives a f*ck about language anymore.

Re: India
Well, you know what I mean - the world's chock-a-block with uneducated knuckle-draggers who put their 'opinions' on the internet, they don't give a f*ck (or more likely don't know) that they're chopping the English language into tiny pieces. It's like reading the thoughts of cavemen, it's awful.

Re: India
I say "fair enough".
Fair dos is one of those phrases that doesn't sit well with me. Sounds like something a mockney bastard would say and it looks weird written down.
So, it's out. And that's fair enough.
Another phrase that I've disowned: 'Nuff said.
F*ck off.

Re: India
Enough has more syllables, comparatively it's a mish to say.
Nuff said has never been in my rich vernacular, so it must be gash.

Re: India
I have alternated. I have tried to educate you without going all Red / Taily on you... If the search function was in any way useful, you'd find at least 10 'fair dues' to the 20 or so 'fair do's'. Alas, my unspoken form of teaching goes unnoticed. I'll voyage onwards, though.
