Re: Best Wozzies not to play Test cricket
Mick played one Test ...the last of the 77 tour of Pomgolia ...and then signed up with Packer ...he did play a few Jamodis after Packer
up until Gilly came along he was the answer to the Trivia question ...which Wozzie has the best batting and bowling average for Oz in Test Cricket ?
46 batting and 12.83 bowling
saw him play footy for Subi ...was quite good

Re: Best Wozzies not to play Test cricket
In one of the first Packer games he rang his wife to tell her to tape the game on tv
He got hit for a couple of huge sixes by Wayne Daniel in the last over to "lose" the match
When he rang his wife she proudly let him know that she had set the VCR going properly (the were a new fangled invention in those days) and had recorded everything ...he told her to burn the tape

That was the night that really ignited WSC. A classic game (in those days) with a classic finish. From memory, it finished well after midnight, with Daniel's mighty smite.embee wrote:In one of the first Packer games he rang his wife to tell her to tape the game on tv

Shaun Marsh really shouldn't be in there. Insanely talented. OK, as seen on T20s 2 years ago, and glimpses this year, but seriously he just looks 'good enough'.

I agree he looks the part. But it's not surprising he's in here, Aus have had... WTF am I saying!??? They picked PHIL HUGHES FFS! Little Tommy O'Shaughnessy-Young-Kralj the blind pianist should've got a go if Phil Hughes has had a go.
DUBBER BIAS!!!!

He has that Carl Hooper syndrome ...where he looks like he's the best batsman in the World and then gets out to a stupid shot or a tank long hop ...has improved greatly in that area but now has a dodgy hammy/back that he keeps injuring
Pomersbach has the same problem with getting out in stupid ways ...plus he has had a few off field problems

Other than his driving home debacle, didn't he and Bog get on the sauce and make arses of themselves in public or at a function?

"Strapping chap was seen fleeing the scene of a rowdy drunken incident at a Scarborough pub in a beat up ute at high speed, with 2 Warrior players in tow."
