Hollywood starts and Billionaire wives are getting the funds together as we speak to launch a mining ship.

Diamonds are already a carp investment. De Beers still control the worlds diamond trade. They buy 80% of the total world output & hold a buffer of uncut stones to regulate the price. Anyone investing in Diamonds it at the mercy of this one company.

A fair call, BD. Had a mate tell me he was gonna make a squillion with an investment diamond. I think it has appreciated very little in 15 years.

Aye...its a very dodgy proposition...for instance, if the use of Blood Diamonds escalates then its conceivable that De Beers might come under pressure to devalue the price to try to stop these African banana republics from wiping each other out.
