He has been coach of a team that has lost 5 Test series ....most of them through lackof/under/not enough/less than the opposition preparation ...

It WAS (thank garq it's was) his job to prepare the team ...he's a garquen failure ...and should not have lasted as long as he did

His decision means Australia will have an interim head coach - possibly one of the assistants, Justin Langer or Steve Rixon - for their upcoming tour of South Africa.

So we are not going to be any better off....at least in the short term.
