Port Liz has been a happier hunting ground for us than them.

Indeed, Red, but we don't have the PE specialist anywhere near the side any more.

M. Johnson's beard makes him look like a sweaty, demented rapist.

Cricket's always fun at PE. The band provides a great atmosphere.

Watson gets hit for a couple of boundaries and the heart's hip's gone.

50 for Smith. Oddly no booing from the crowd.

SAf appear to be running away with this.
Or rather, Smithy and The Shark appear to be. Not much assistance from Amla.

South Africa has a seriously soft looking middle order.

So Ricky Ponting doesn't walk after a fielder claims a catch off him.
What a f*cking hypocrite.

Re: South Africa v Australia, 2nd ODI, Port Elizabeth, 23 October, 2011
He made a statement a few years back about accepting a fielder's word if he claimed a low catch. Du Plessis claimed the catch, Ponting stayed put.
Some might say that Ponting didn't take Du Plessis's word because no other batsman does it and all of the captains told him to get stuffed when he proposed the 'agreement' a few years back. But that would be like Adam Gilchrist suddenly not walking because no one else did it.

Well, he would have some point if that (latter) were the case.
Personally, I think it's more likely he has two opinions.
(Like Bradman on the practice of bowling at the batsman! )

What a thrashing. It's not even if the conditions are that different. Mollywhopping.
Re: South Africa v Australia, 2nd ODI, Port Elizabeth, 23 October, 2011
Well, that was all a bit p!sspoor. Cummins comes back to earth and got smashed, Bolly started well but also got smashed, and Watto's injury-hoodoo seems to have returned. Pretty ordinary all round.
