And he can't have a runner either.

Aust effectively 5/13 with them relying on Haddin FFS to dig them out of a hole.

The pitch isn't doing THAT much is it? Is the tide in? Humidity providing swing? Ian Bell's sack hanging out of his shorts?

Madness.

Well if that shot doesn't end Haddin's career the new selectors should be sacked.

Seriously , 26 looks a stretch from here.

That should be Brad Haddin's career, really. If he wasn't the only keeper in the Aus squad. You can kind of see what he was trying to do, but it ends up looking like he just wasn't up for the fight. Add that to the fact he's hardly scored a run in any form of cricket this year.....

You certainly wouldn't want to rely on Hughes as runner to give you any advice about DRS. Remember Marsh in SL where he didn't even hit the ball?; Watto here and then Hughes tells Ponting to challenge one that looked plumb.

At least Aust have made it to the first Power Play.

Any word on whether Marsh can/will bat?

Can no one else in the world produce a competitive pitch that lasts at least 4 days when they try to divert from the usual road?

Hughes is just weak. He wasn't strong enough to go with his instincts and tell Ponting it was plumb because it was Ponting. You could say the same thing about that 'catch' off Cook he claimed in Sydney. Knew it wasn't out but succumbed to the peer pressure of his team mates furious appeals.

Unfortunately for the Saffies, Aus already have about 150 too many.
