Fits right in at the Old Boys Club then, don't he? It's no wonder England are so shite when they're rewarding mediocrity and muppetry at the top of the hierarchy.

Re: Giles Clarke has a very slapable face and talks Bollocks
Was it on this forum or when we were over at FB v1.0 when Clarke was appointed and I opined that he was an utter toss bucket?
Either way, the point still stands.

Re: Giles Clarke has a very slapable face and talks Bollocks
Yeah, yeah...but England already do rotate their squad, especially so in one dayers. I don't see what everyone's 'beef' is.
There's a bigger problem in that the standard of test cricket is very 'variable' and in the number of meaningless one dayers- but if the fixture list stays the same, England might as well rotate. As long as full strength teams play in the big test series I'm not bothered- JAMODIs, minnow bashing and dead rubbers might all be bit more interesting if 'A' teams played.
I think you're all a bitter and wrong and also I love the idead of exporting county cricket to the sub-continent. Surrey fan clubs in Mumbai? Sounds brilliant.

We probably don't have many Mumbai fan clubs in Mumbai, wouldn't hold my breath for Surrey to get one if I were you.
Anyways, the A squad is supposed to be coming over for the Duleep Trophy I hear.

You just wait 'til the 'rey roll into town. They'll be like Manchester United. I can see all those kids with replica Scott Newman shirts right now.

Or we could just rename the sub-continent the 'Surrey-continent'. Doesn't that sound marvellous?

Clarke is the man we have to "thank" for no live cricket being shown on terrestrial TV.
