Is there anything better than watching a winger sprinting down the sideline only to encounter a big forward putting a coathanger on him? His feet keep moving but his head stays still & then he falls flat on his back, unconscious. Absolutely brilliant.
It's that kinda shite that drove me away from the game Wally.
FFS.
Did that post look even remotely serious?

Meh. You've rabbited on plenty in the past about the glory days of rugby league. And the written word misses nuance.WideWally wrote:Zat wrote:Crap from Wally, sagacity from Mick.Mick Sawyer wrote:WideWally wrote:.............. and stiff arm tackles.

Huzzah!! Dragons away to a winning start. Fairly scrappy game but the boys got the ball from a Coalminers knock-on and Sowie did the rest. 15-14 and we lead the comp.

Same with the Chief. I copped a cushion to the head as Soward dropped-kicked the winning point.

Broncos looking like a team who has lost its playmaker. They are clueless when they get close to the line. Eels leading 6-0 at halftime.
