The BCCI still runs it.

The possible changes be 3 divisions of nine teams and none of this Elite Plate dodginess. All teams will be guaranteed 8 FC matches a season.

All knockout matches recommended to be 5 days matches and can be extended to 6 days if no result after 5 days.

The challenger trophy, the India Blue, Red and Green tournament, may now be a tournament between the ODD tournament winners and two teams handpicked by selectors.

And coin toss results still exist.
