So, India will open with Dravid on boxing day with Laxman at three. Sensible move. Yuvraj HAD to be included after his big hundred in his last test. Still, i'm a bit surprised that they didn't play Sehwag in this match just to see how he would go in place of Ganguly, who probably needs a rest.

with just one tour match its imperative for the 1st team, esp the batsmen, to get a feel of local conditions. even tendulkar and dhoni were rushed into the match as they know its the only hit they will get before the test series starts

Luckily for India, the Melbourne pitch is expected to be low and slow. Imagine if the first test was at Perth and India only had 1 rain affected 3 day game beforehand.

He is THE WALL! Break down the Walls of Dravid.

He will be a tough nut to crack, I hope Bung bowls himself out of contention for Australias best bowler of the series. I think once India tighten pressure on the likes of Lee, Tait and Clark i think they will crumble because they won't be used to the pressure.
