Right across the road from the Supreme Court.

Should there be regulation around the volume of businesses in the sex industry - that's the question being raised after Brisbane opened up its latest 'gentleman's club' in the city.
Showbar 320, located within The Grosvenor on George St officially opened on July 12, complete with topless barmaids who start as early as 10am.
But the move has raised concerns that the region is becoming overwhelmed with businesses involved in the sex industry.
Showbar 320 General manager Jasmine Robson said there were some gentleman's club's featuring dancers, but none with ``the unique position that we are in to serve as a 'Disneyland' for men''.
"With several different areas, that cater to several different needs in the one beautiful building, it is truly world class entertainment,'' Ms Robson, 30, said.
The venue has 30 girls on their topless waitress/barmaid roster and more than 800 dancers on the database from across Australia and overseas.
Ms Robson said two new dancers are flown in to Australia for the Brisbane show's each week.
"There is no other bar in Brisbane or anywhere even close that has all topless barmaids and waitresses from open (10am) until close Tuesday to Saturday,'' she said.
"We are your real home, you just go somewhere else to sleep,'' Ms Robson said.
"Friday is our busiest day, with so many men coming in to wind down after a hard week's work.
"Saturday nights are also huge with boy's nights out and bucks parties galore.''
But Melinda Liszewski, Brisbane organiser of Collective Shout - a grassroots campaigning movement against the objectification of women and sexualisation of girls said it was time regulatory bodies placed a cap on the amount of businesses opening in the sex industry.
"If we look at the sex industry as strip clubs, brothels and adult shops, there seems to be an adult shop on every corner.
"There is pornography and prostitution being promoted on every level.
"Certainly council needs to do something about capping or moving towards a society where we don't have women valued for their bodies and women bought and sold and harmed in this way,'' she said.
Ms Liszewski said an expanding sex industry with "brazen'' advertising, was telling young men "it's a valid thing to do to go and purchase sex from a brothel or to go and be sexually entertained by women in a strip club''.
"There's a young generation of girls who are exposed to sexualised advertising who are brought up with this idea that they exist for men's entertainment, and then of course at the other end there's a strip club ready to employ them.
"I hate the term 'gentleman's' club' because there is nothing gentlemanly about it.
"There is nothing respectful about going to a strip club and paying a woman to dance naked in front of you.
"That's not how you treat women when you are wanting to show respect to them,'' she said.
Ms Liszewski said the industry was a threat to womens equality because of the way women were "bought and sold''.
"Women in the sex industry are more likely to experience violence, they are more likely to have experienced childhood sexual abuse and particularly with prostitution they are likely to have started at a very early age," she said.

Naked man rescued from Big Woody Island

December 8, 2014 - 4:18PM

A 53-YEAR-old man who fell overboard from a motor cruiser has been found naked on Big Woody Island by Volunteer Marine Rescue Hervey Bay in the early hours of Monday morning.

VMR Hervey Bay commodore Kevin Heitmann said the man was wearing boxer shorts when he slipped and fell from the motor cruiser but he had to lose them because they were pulling him under.

"The current took him around the bottom and back up the eastern side of Big Woody," he said.

"He managed to get ashore and walked back to the western side."

Mr Heitmann said the man suffered cuts to his feet but they were not serious enough to need medical attention.
