Then again, didn't New Zealand draw their series last time they were in Australia? They'll still need another decent quick bowler will Lanka.

F*cking kerching, Mr. Tricycle.
Stick that one wherever you like, Red.

This match included 3 first-ballers, all in the Yarp 2nd innings. There was a 2nd ball duck in the Indian 2nd innings.lardbucket wrote:three Golden Ducks in one match (so far) ... must be close to a record?

Jimmy Matthews' twin hattrick match may have been a candidate for more than 4. There are enough ducks but not many stats on number of balls faced.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/cricket/australia-on-verge-of-test-summit-with-victory-all-but-certain-in-adelaide/story-e6frey50-1226523657068
"AUSTRALIA will return to the top of the world today once it completes a crushing victory over damaged and demoralised Test champions South Africa in Adelaide.
The underdog success story may come with a rush as South Africa heads into the final day of the second Test teetering on 4-77 after being set 430 for a record-breaking victory.
Australia’s success will be all the more significant without imposing young fast bowler James Pattinson, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the Test summer with a side strain suffered during the first innings."

Yeah, he'll have to match Faf's efforts. Did Conn say this? If so, bully for him. I merely noted that Flangelo was the last specialist Lankan batsman standing. Personally, I reckon it could be over by Lunch.

Well Samaraweera is still at the crease with him. He's usually a run machine in these conditions. Prasanna can bat as well. After that, Randiv has a couple of first class hundreds, Herath is a slogger with a good eye, Kuasekara likewise, and then the bunnies.

Although I see that even the number 11 Eranga has a first class hundred. And the Kiwis don't know how to win. Game on I reckon.

Thilan scores a century today, and Angelo run out for 97.
Cue the match finishing by lunch.

PMSL @ Lankans. Sammy is run out as they try to save the match. FMD.
25.3
Bracewell to Samaraweera, OUT, what a mix-up!. It was a back of length delivery, punched to cover and Thilan started running blindly while Mathews was stationed comfortably. He runs down three quarters of the pitch then realises that Angelo is not going anywhere. Jeetan at cover throws in the ball and van Wyk completes the run out. He was miles out.
LOL @ The Flange leaning on his bat at the non-strikers as Sammy says "WTF??"
