Unbelievable. They made losing from a certain win an art form.

Thunder had the chance to win and fark the Stars but Greg Blewett. Their batting is useless if Gayle or Ussie aren't there.

Can you hear, can you hear the Thunder?
Fall with a thud - they're full of thud and blunder
At least that gets Matty Prior out of this mess with a little break before UnZudd.

i'd forgot that!
There was a classic a few years later when Darren Thomas got an Essex player out lbw then proceeded to turn around and do an uppercut celebration on Ronnie Iranis chin.

Could any "Celeb" have captured better the vacuous "The laws are meant for the little people, not us Celebrities" attitude any better. Makes you want to spit.
Listen Liz "Luvvy" It's just as well Hughie only went to LA, coz if he had come down to the Caribbean looking for Black *SS you'd have found his face squashed under something like in my avatar, not just some 2 Bob blow job in the back of a car. Checked Shane's texts recently?
That's very harsh. She was just standing by her man, and feeling sorry for the adoring fans.
She can't really be held responsible for Grant's tastes in hot totty.

I once saw Eddie Hemmings raise his bat to Graham Dilley after being hit by a Dilley bouncer. It may have been in jest but judging by Dilley's reaction, I'd say not.

That was the same game where Thomas beamed Stuart Law right on the knuckle, which led to yet more jostling and such.
Was a bad tempered game, all in all.

Re: Big Bash Thread
btw ...congrats to the spiv thunderqs for going through the season without a win...with a bit of luck the other spiv team will finish 2nd last...
I think the current tower of bbl series represents the nadir of international cricket...CA boss Sutherland's basic line (following the Samuels v TGM farce) is that any publicity is good publicity...this puts him up there with Jardine, Modi, Greig, Cronje, Azzha and Bacher in the pantheon of cricket infamy

If you start talking about 'infamy' in cricket, you open up a can of grubs.
A fairly bottomless one.

I see Alex Hales went ape sh!t in the BBL... can't be too long before he gets in the all powerful England ODI side.

Where though? He's an opener, really - there's Ronnie Knicks, Cook and KP in front of him.
Re: Big Bash Thread
Opening with Cook eventually I think. KP can come in 1st wkt down.

Even I'd say he could be aggrieved if he were dropped. He's done OK since his return - not as well as the pundits reckon, but he's done a job.
But yeah, a line-up of, say:
Cook
Hales
KP
Morgan
Buttler
Beddy
Looks good.

Bizarre that he's never played even one ODI. Not even against Ireland or Scotland or some such shite.
It's not like his List A record is the worst.
