Re: Big Bash Thread
Just got back from the game.
It was interesting for about two overs at the end of the Sydney innings I suppose but give me 90 overs at 3rpo at a test match any day.

Chunder win and in the fine tradition of Catholic girls the world over go apeshit and win by 9 wickets with 9 overs to spare.

I hope we don't play him in the Shield ahead of Muirhead or Holland when it resumes

Re: Big Bash Thread
Well I'm kinda pleased for the Chunder. While it's amusing to sledge the perennial losers, it was nice to see them break their long streak last night (I didn't see it).

Re: Big Bash Thread
Only four overs gone in the Hobart v Sixers game & already i can predict Hobart will get dusted. This comp is sooo predictable.
Re: Big Bash Thread
Probably watched the most of any BBL innings I've ever watched just now (about half the Sixers effort). Smith looked good and young Silk did his job. Ollie North continues to be a complete farkwit, reverse sweeping straight to 1st slip off the leggie (Boyd, who looked OK). He tried twice and was successful on the 2nd attempt.
Sixers set the Tassie Tornados a challenging 180 to win.

On cue, Ollie takes a wicket with his loopy offies. Punter and MEW absolutely giving it to Owais Shah, who has apparently* been shit for the whole tournament.
