What will the shameless, greedy, blind and spineless BCCI do now?

The Revenge Series began after we won the 2011 WC. Basically that means every team is taking revenge against us after that.

Now that the smug arrogance of the fast bastards like Rajiv Shukla [grinning shamelessly in Parliament when a serious discussion on increasing rapes and needed harsh measures was going on] and IPL owner Srinivasan has been laid top rest. Now that their assertion that 'all teams struggle on green pitches overseas and we will be back to winning at home again' has been shot with a cannonball. Now that not only test series but their prized home one dayers and T20s are also being lost spinelessly. Professional review was not sought after England whitewash that sought that first opened the picture of what was horribly wrong in the team. Do they still think nothing is wrong with Indian cricket and the overall structure?

India A and B tours has stopped, all available local talent was thoughtlessly diverted to IPL and people who played the giggle and run version over a couple of matches well were picked up fo national team. Replacements for the aging trio of legends were not groomed and all focus was on IPL tamasha at the expense of national duty both by shameless plkayers and greedy board. Who is to blame then?

Remember Shitwag's arrogance after Aus 4-0 also happened?

"We are still one day World Champions and that will be a different ball game".

Select the best batsmen. Gambhir, for one, is not near one of them.

Mind, an Indian based team still holds the IPL. Tell anyone to take that away, that'll learn the doubters.

Gambhir and Sehwag need to go. Their cosy, non-productive little partnership at the top of the order has held India back for 18 months now.

On reading some news reports I came across this gem of an excuse from Dhoni [I can understand bowling has been full of rookies a while now] blaming his batsmen series after series which almost made me fall of my chair laughing:

"When the seniors, the experienced guys are not performing, it puts pressure on the juniors. It is important that the seniors stand up and take responsibility as also guide the juniors."

I do not understand who are the juniors in this batting line up. Lets try and find.

Ghati - Senior
Shitwag - Most senior
Kohli - Debuted 4 years ago, already scored 3000 runs in ODIs. [Is he still a junior?]
Yuvraj - Second most senior. [12 years in Int cricket]
FTB Raina - Don't think he is still a junior, debuted as back as 2005 in ODIs and has 4000 runs in ODIs. [7 years in Int Cricket]
Dhobi: Captain and senior. [7 years in Int Cricket]

Likes of Rohit, Rahane and Tewari probably just play an odd game here or there one at a time. So who is junior here? I cannot find one.

Most of the 'juniors' have played a minimum of a dozen tests and 100+ ODIs. Some 'juniors'.

TBH, I actually think that WC win in 2011 is now looking more like a curse. It spoiled our players, brought them excess glory than they could handle, brought excess money that took their focus from their games and fitness and now look where we fell?

We have not won a single series of note since then, neither overseas nor at home.

I don't know what we will have next WC. Shitwag doesn't look fit enough to last. Even then he, Ghati, Raina, Yuvraj and Sharma are FTBs. Zaheer and Bhajji are also finished. Dhobi looks like he won't cover the distance either unless he prioritizes and quits one or more formats of the game. Our trundling medium pacers make a debut, play full steam a year or half and then after one full IPL become train wrecks that end up in scrap yards. ATM we neither have very good batsmen and nor have any idea what kind of pace and spin bowlers we will have.

In 2011, it looked that except SRT, a majority of the players would be fit and up enough to be in the next edition. Ghati, Yuvraj, Shitwag, Dhobi, Raina, Kohli, Bhajji, Zaheer, Ishant etc all looked like they would survive as a core team. How far they have fallen as players and as a team since then.

Funnily enough BCCI refuses to be accountable to public and open to Govt scrutiny maintaining they are 'private and independent' but expect police investigating the scam to depose to them in reverse order.

Anyways its official. BCCI is hopeless. After a sham 'probe' panel that 'investigated' the spot fixing betting scandal and gave clean chits to fecking fat qunt Srini, his son in law and Rajasthan Royals owners, the panel's legality and it's findings have been thrown out by the honorable HC putting the spanner at the efforts to carpet sweep. One would have thought BCCI would have learned some lessons and made an honest effort to clean up once and for all.

SC has strongly slapped BCCI and passed a stinging observation and has openly said BCCI's credibility stands lost., It has passed orders to prevent Srni from functioning as President. Yet only in BCCI can such embarrassment be dismissed as 'an observation and not an order' and the fat coat corrupt Srini be re-elected BCCI boss unopposed yet again. Are the idiots called Indians still thinking Indian Cricket is above board and going to follow the Punters Leagues with zeal like they were national medal winning matches?

Just recent the Parliament led the most corrupt Congress tried to bring a bill aimed at protecting convicted and jailed Parliamentarians only to buckle against public opposition and with the fear of the coming elections. This bill was a way to bypass Sc orders to keep convicted lawmakers out. Why should are sports body be any less glorious and less contempful of the SC?
