Comes out of the track without watching the ball properly, is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. His bat goes for a mighty swing, the ball spins past it and the keeper does the job. Atrocious shot! Two tons in an innings for Bangles. That can't have happened too often.

I note that Australia didn't manage it against SL either.

For the stats mavens:

Both batsmen have reached their highest scores in the same partnership (bit of a random stat because as someone on cricinfo writes in: "With both of them being actual batsmen, and not low-scoring bowlers")

I believe that this is the first time that the Bangers have 2 batsmen who have scored centuries while batting together.

Second time Bangers have had two hundreds in an innings. Last time was Habibul Bashar, who was the third to fall, and Rafique against West Indies. Aye, first time both scored centuries while batting together.
