Quite. I expect he was simply lighting up a smoke when he slipped, fell, whereupon it landed in another person's eye. The beating up of Dabo can be explained by a special disease - that one where your arm(s) effectively has a will of its own and acts on an accord separate of yours. The fact that his runaway arm proceeded to beat up a team-mate is absolutely not his fault.

And besides, even if his arm wasn't a renegade, Dabo probably went in for a rum challenge or took the ball off him during training, or even kicked a ball at him in an aggressive manner. All of which are outstanding reasons to beat someone's face into a pulp, I have to say.

LOL, nobody is making him out to be whiter than white. Nobody knows the full facts behind these stories though.

Either way, he hasn't got his head screwed on...

If he wasn't a rich and famous footballer he'd be in prison. He must have a very good lawyer.

Didn't Reading lose 7-4 at Portsmouth earlier in the season?

No-one could ever accuse them of being a shut-up-shop-and-try-and-grind-out-a-nil-nil type of away team...

This looks like it was even more extraordinary though.

6 goals and a penalty miss in 13 minutes. Classy defending obviously

FT at Upton Park. 2-1 to the Hammers. How queer.

Chance for Arsenal to move back into the driving seat, but I just don't fancy them against Everton today. They're not in great form and a decent Everton side that's always physical and compact should give them a game.

United were poor today, rubbish defending the set pieces, i think Arsenal will steal a win today.

Just watching the goals from the Reading-Spurs match, Berbatov is playing really well, Keane missed another penalty luckily for him the rebound landed to Defoe.

He was so lethal in '98 that he was going to start off the bench for the final?

Where was he in the '02 World Cup?

So he was France's top goal scorer in these tournaments? What with three goals?

Very good player, but the greatest in the Premiership?

Err yes, with 3 goals. Therefore outscoring his team mates, who failed to score 3 goals. Where were the whole French team in the 02 world cup? They were all rubbish. Doesn't change the fact that Henry's a great. Yes, one of the greatest players to play in the premiership.
