The Broad debacle discussion is not to take anything away from England given the likelihood of their victory but it is just amusing to hear so many leap to the defence of their golden boy and talk about all the mistakes in the same vein. The Broad howler is in a postcode of its own.
Nonsense. If you tried umpiring and understood how difficult it is to make decisions in real time you would have more sympathy for Dar.
I have much less sympathy for Erasmus who had the same information we had, could replay and use slo-mo as often as possible and still got his decisions wrong.
But the biggest howler in all of this was by Clarke, wasting his reviews.

I'm more interested in the possible Pakowarnervision that can be achieved by mankind.

My god, Taylor is so one-sided and bias it's a joke. Horrible listening to this pre-show.

Only if you look faster than your average visioners.

Should Anderson be bowling with the new ball 8 overs away?

Doubt they'll take the new ball straightaway. At least, they'll see if the old ball is doing anything in the next 8 overs.

And if if the old ball isn't doing anything Anderson will be 4 overs into a spell.

Winnie's strike rate is down a bit on his first innings.

The kid plays without fear. Paddle sweep off middle for his first runs of the morning. That ensures he will finish his first Test with an average of over 50.

So with Bell's extremely technically sound 100, would the Poms consider elevating Belf to open and drop Root back down the order?
