No changes for England unless KP's calf doesn't come up. Brezzy did the job.

For Aus Twatson, Con and Orry should go, but we don't have the bats to replace them. Elmer will come in for Doo.

Twatto will stay because of his bowling.

Patto will go.  He's had his chances.  Bird in.   I'd like to see Starc too.

Agar could play as a batsman for Con.

SOS to Katich.

And cross fingers that the match is still going when I get there on Day 3 (although I don't have tickets anyway so possibly moot).

I thought Orry was Doo?

I can't stand the confusion in my mind!

I would rather have Agar in the side "for his bowling" than Twatson in the side "for his bowling"

As stated on the last test thread, England should select:

Mr. A.N. Cook* MBE
Root, J.E.
Trott, I.J.L.
Mr. K.P. Pietersen MBE / Mr. J.W.A. Taylor
Mr I.R. Bell MBE
Mr J.M. Bairstow
Mr M.J. Prior
Mr S.C.J. Broad
Swann, G.P.
Anderson, J.M.
Panesar M.S.

Although I suspect they will choose Bresnan, T.T. over Panesar M.S.

Its all about the breeding Peter, C.S. (unless you are a Mr C.S. Peter, in which case, my apologies). State vs public (I speak as one of those horrible, mucky behind the ears state types myself).

Given what batting at 11 for Australia does to a batsman's ability, he would probably make 200 there!

Fawad will never be anything but a state bowler. He's taken a few wickets against some Zimbot no names and apart from that he has done nothing on this tour to show he is ready for test cricket.

Surely your logic should be to make him bowl 60 overs unchanged an innings (in a dead rubber), and jab him with green and gold cattle prods and hit him with sticks to complete his stint, until he genuinely IS physically ruined?

Wade isn't great but on the evidence I've seen, he's no worse than Haddin. He's also 10 years younger as well so there's a chance he MIGHT end up being a better cricketer. Aus should play him as the first choice keeper for the rest of the series.

It's likely England will be unchanged unless KP's calf rules him out. James Taylor the favourite to replace him.

Will the selectors take up his offer to just call out his name? Should be the right season, right?
