Aust A side is no different to the four day side except they have had the good sense to drop Mitch Marsh although why they keep playing Hazlewood is beyond my comprehension.

There is a tour coming up and they're using it as preparation... The India A squad, nobody really knows what it is now. These go out, then Sehwag, Yuvraj and Gambhir come in unless they picked someone like Chand.

Actually, I think Cummins is being held back so he can get some Shield into him and Hilfenhaus is wrapped in wool so that he can replace whichever of the 5 we have now who will be out injured.

Not really, give a batsman enough opportunities and he'll make runs sooner or later. A ton in an ODI match against an 'A' squad on a flat pitch isn't that much to write home about.

Just seen the result from the other night. Holy fark what sort of road were they playing on?

India A 309 (8.13 runs per over) in 38 overs.
SAF A 258 (7.44 runs per over) in 34.4 overs

Same as in the A internationals. Pretoria in winter. The pitch will be like cement.

The Aussies lose chasing a moderate total though Finch almost took them over the line single-handedly. Paine's batting is shyte these days.
