I hope the ICC do something to stop it, TBH. Imagine how much better Ireland would be with Rankin and Morgan in their side. Furthermore, as the closest nation, we should do more than we are to bring them into the world game. We're a f*cking disgrace.

Is there any point to Luke Wright? Avg 22 with bat (HS 52 - 2 50s) and 57 with ball in ODIs.

This could turn out to be pretty funny. English bats making the Irish (with the best will in the world) trundlers look like Walsh and Ambrose.

Imagine if you stuck Morgan and Rankin in the Ireland side - there's no way they wouldn't beat Banglazim in ODIs AND Tests.

Trent Og O'Johnston and Seamus Sorensen did okay with ball and bat respectively, as well.

If you'd put Morgan in the Irish side today, they'd have won by about 80 runs.

80 runs? You're forgetting that Ireland only got 270 because Boyd Rankin took 4/46.

Bopara's innings was really quite good. I like him. He has a new found maturity and comfort within himself. I'd actually back him, Bairstow-style, and stick him in the Test side at #6. I have faith.
