What a pack of qunts the Indonesians are. And the biggest qunt is their Foreign Minister.
Lovely to see them burning the Aus flag today. Yeah, they don't spy on us at all.

Abbott needs to show some guts & suspend all aid. Let the bastards build their own musi schools. If he backs down to this sort of brinkmanship, Indonesia will always have the upper hand.

Awesome, let's make an enemy of a country with 250 million people and a bigger economy than ours which is just a row boat trip away.

and meanwhile in the banana republic of banjoland, the Billy parliament last night sacked its own corruption committee for asking questions... a move that the MM will watch closely

Any word from Krudd on this matter? And I note the pointy nosed Ranga was mouthing off smugly on the wires this week. Hmm, did you sign off the spying order, Juliar?

Why don't they ask Ruddy to apoligise to the Indos on his way out. It won't change anything other than make a few pinkos feel better about themselves
The ABC could then claim it as a major achievement for the next decade

Electricity Bill is all class. In face-to-face briefing on the spying matter with the PM he agrees to bilateral approach to the matter, then in Parliament, against his colleagues' wishes, grandstands and demands Abbott apologise (for a Pinko fark-up no less). Apparently* behind closed doors he was crow-pecked by wiser heads, and changed his tune very quickly.
What a lightweight.

Coalition now reneging on the Gonski deal.
Happily, the Tory state governments seem to be telling the Attack Chihuahua to GFY.

BOF let's loose by having a respectful discussion through the media:
"Can I just make this point to the federal Education Minister," he said. "In all my years in politics, I have worked out that it is best to have respectful discussions and consultations in private, not through the media.
"And secondly, when you move into government, you have got to stop behaving like an opposition."

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XI)
The Gonski change is classic new govt strategy
You promise it in opposition ...and then claim once youve seen all the numbers that its a shambles created by the previous govt ...and do what you were going to do all along
Until all states territories and school systems had signed up to Gonski equally it wasnt doing what t was meant to anyway
Pyne needs to start again and do it properly in a timely manner
