Knights fluke another win and Eagles fall over the line against the Titans.

Maybe I haven't paid as much attention to Leeeeg since the Drags tapered away after the 2010 Premiership, but wasn't a 40-20 always restarted with a scrum with the feed going to the kicking side?

All this hullabaloo about the poor kid not putting the ball on the touchline in the Slimeys' loss is criminal.

When was the rule changed to a tap restart? it appears the law is about to change back to the much more sensible scrum restart with the feed advantage to the kicking side.

if I was a recently retired player I'd take the penalty and sue the begeebers out of Cronulla

same applies to Essendon....in fact if I had recruited an ex Dons player involved in jabbing it up, I would sue Essendon if such player was unable to play.

personally I think both Cronulla and Essendon are blights on their respective games and shd go into liquidation with reserves available in trust for former jabbed up players who develop probs associated with the growth enhancing peptides or their kids if they are wonky at birth

If I was a recently retired player with no thoughts of a comeback, issued with a show cause notice, I'd probably give a big yawn and crack open another tinnie.

I wonder if Danks will actually suffer anything from all of this debacle? Or has he already been run out of business?

10 players accept the ASADA bans incl Gallen.

A couple who are now in Super League in the UK have rejected it.

PC gone too far?

LINK

Of course this would never happen in Union where the singing of bawdy songs is an art form. They were no doubt out of tune, lacking in pitch, timing and harmonic structure but nevertheless the penalty was a bit harsh.

Cowboys 12-0 up early over Bunnies.

If Hawks win too Nath will be over the moon.

Souths blow their opportunity to go to #1 by losing to the Cowboys who put in one of their best ever performances in Sydney.

Thurston really is a great player.

I've often wondered where he might rank in the pantheon of half backs. I'd say he be about a Sterlo level.

Didn't see the game but Souths just seem to relax after they've had a good run. Perhaps I'm being harsh, and they were truly Thurstoned, but this complacency when in good form is the thing that may stop the Bunnies winning the comp.

Reynolds doing a hammy won't help.
