But he's not asked for an early release from the last year of his Panthers contract.

Hello, the Drags beat fellow wooden spoon contenders Wests in a pre-season game.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Panthers may have been gypped in the World Club Championship.

Wigan won 16-12 but the rags say there were a couple of controversial refereeing calls, one being a no-call on a double movement by the Poms and another a disallowed try to the Panthers late that would've tied the scores with a kick to come.

Oh, and the Drags beat the Filth, which is nice.

Not following leeeg as much as I did, but did savour the Storm beating the despicable Nags. Aside from Cann and Sailor, the other Nags I met were appalling. Tallis was and presumably still is a thug off the ground.

The whingeing in Brisbane when the Nags lost was something to behold and truly snigger at.

Hi skullywag, nah … have been spared a recent visit there. Was remembering my exile there 92-04… I really got to despise the Brisbane dog and pony show. Truly is a one horse/nags town.
