At least 13 killed on Everest

all sherpas so the general climbing community wont give much of a ******. a few crocodile tears and then itll be business as usual. sure wont do anything to make sure the poor buggers get decent pay and better safety conditions

Actually the climbing Sherpas are well paid by Nepalese standards. This wasn't a safety issue but one of the risks of climbing and the icefall has always the most dangerous part of the climb. The only way to increase safety higher on the mountain is to limit the number of climbers, but ironically this will hurt the Sherpas financially.
