Embee, heard a good interview with Shippy.

he talked about the final bringing together his history as a player with WA and Tas and as vic coach...he saw it as a nice culmination.

btw...one measure of the Vics achievement is that they only had two games at the G, being forced by CA to play their other home games interstate inc in Alice Springs ffs which according to Shippy knocked the satuffing out of Siddle and Patto

The sozzie game at Glenelg was also a vomit home game

My uncle played at Shippy's club, Scarborough , so I've been a fan of his for a long time

My anti wozzie bias radar was onto the fact that Dyson was a non scoring corpse in pads at 3 for Oz which was the reason given for Shippy not getting selected for OZ despite a very good shield record

NLWL also played for Scarborough ...and Harris Tye and Stoinis are also products of the club

I think the Final should be kept as is - but held at neutral venues such as Hobart when they miss out on a Test and are not one of the finalists
