Marcus Harris, who has struggled for runs all year, is leading the way for WA so far in the final.

Pattinson has continued to be expensive throughout the day and has probably bowled himself out of touring contention. Voges is approaching yet another century, and the top of the all-time list of Shield batting seasons; surely he must get the final batting spot on the Ashes tour?

WA's best/only chance of a win might be to declare half an hour before tea tomorrow and hope for a few VIC wickets due to tiredness, so that WA get a first innings lead by sometime day 4 ... then they will need to go for broke in a quick second innings run chase, so that they can leave Vic a tasty but risky target on day 5 against Agar. Even so it's very hard to envisage the WA bowling attack knocking the strong Victorian batting lineup over twice.

Aye, its going to be a struggle for them. The limited preparation of the pitch will help the Vics...no doubt.

Saj Vandy (a reversed spoonerism of Sandy Vag) was an ID of a former prolific Wozzie poster. He often told other posters "you need to do something about that sand in your vagina".

So Sandy Vags is a combo of the Wozzies being Sandgropers and a homage to Saj Vandy. Wozzies can be touchy, especially when it comes to the subject of EOzzie dominance. One might say they can get a bit of sand in their vaginas when Eastern Aus dominance at cricket is claimed.

He's probably an outside chance of an Ashes spot for Aus at the age of 35, like Chris Rogers was in 2013. Like Rogers he has vast experience in England.
