Re: What car do you drive?
Aye - I've coveted a E Series AMG for years.
We need 7 seats though so more likely a GLS (although the AMG is expensive).
Alternatively , the Tesla Model X looks interesting.

I don't know much but my mate's always on about the Audi Q7 if he has more kids. Looks a bit nicer than the GLS IMO but again, I know nothing about cars.

...apart from the recall of all Tesla models.

Meh. Means it will be perfect by the time I can find the 200 grand to buy it.

Re: What car do you drive?
I heard that you already complain loudly about the size of the electricity bill created by MrsK and the sprogs!! Imagine what it'll be like when you are plugging in your limo every night after the batteries have been drained by latte mornings, lunch at Balmoral and dog coiffures.

Re: What car do you drive?
So there's a school for troubled kids near where I work and looks like one of them has decided to key the bonnet. £1100 excess for damage on the Mercedes hire car. Just before Christmas. Cannot afford this.
Good. F*cking. Times.

I'd beg them NOT to give me such a courtesy car. They probably tracked it and came to key it themselves...
Can't key a bicycle of course... but if you shit yourself driving that then you'll be wanting one of these:

Damn baby, that's a shocker. Sorry
Re: What car do you drive?
So Mercedes sold more passenger cars in Australia last year than Ford did.
Astonishing.

Re: What car do you drive?
Mrs K hasn't driven it yet! She is a bit daunted to have a first drive without me (and not in the dark) so we'll go tomorrow.
She is so far unconvinced by my suggestion that it is just like driving a golf cart (albeitly a ludicrously fast one).

Is Mrs K a petrol head and confused/irritated by Mr K's purchase?

Re: What car do you drive?
No. It's just an expensive car that is a little bit different to the cars we've had before.

Followed a new Tesla around Hornsby today (it had "Tess-la" plates). Rather Jag-ish.

So you've opened it up on the M1?
And is MrsK now confident behind the wheel?

Yep and yep.
On the M1 its really about acceleration and overtaking given the cops are everywhere. I have been the Hunter and back twice and haven't yet had the chance to drag a Porsche or similar. They might be a bit scared!
