Shut Up, Flanders
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-08-13/shane-warne-defends-michael-clarke-following-criticism-from-for/6693914
Shane Warne has given former Australia coach John Buchanan a stinging rebuke for suggesting Michael Clarke's captaincy eroded the 'Baggy Green' culture.
Earlier this week Buchanan criticised Clarke's tenure as captain, accusing him of not buying into national team culture.
Clarke announced he will retire from international cricket at the end of the Ashes series, having revealed his decision after Australia's fourth Test defeat to England last Saturday.
Warne, a long-time critic of Buchanan, said his former coach was unqualified to speak on the matter given his lack of on-field experience.
"It's an absolute joke, really. Guys like John Buchanan trying to do cheap shots and say that he's let down the culture of the Baggy Green. Give us a break, mate. Are you for real?" Warne told Channel Nine.
"This bloke had no idea about the game of cricket.
"He never played the game, doesn't know what the players go through. And suddenly he's saying he wrecked the culture of the Baggy Green."
Buchanan, who played seven first-class matches for Queensland in the 1970s, weighed into the affair by praising the departing skipper's service, but said a young Clarke failed to buy into Australia's team culture when he was coach.

Re: Shut Up, Flanders
Buchanan could cure cancer and Warne would still claim Buchanan doesn't have a clue about anything.
There are three certainties in life- death, taxes, and Shane Warne sticking up for his buddies no matter what whilst berating people that once did him wrong/didn't agree with.
There's nothing more tiresome than a grudge holder.

Re: Shut Up, Flanders
Seems not entirely impossible that Buckers knew that bagging Clarke would provoke Warnie to some kind of reaction....none of them has ever smelt a chance to say 'I told you so' that they didn't take.

"Culture of the Baggy Green"
I don't know why I keep picturing Buck in a dark closet furiously masturbating away and delivering into a green cap before putting in on an alter of the shrine to a dead Allan Border.

There's a Ned Flanders themed heavy metal band called Okily Dokily.
