Many thanks for the kind wishes, chaps.
I managed to pick up a 24 hour bug, and spent the day curled up feeling generally yuck. Didn't really miss much though - Mrs G took me out last week to see Midge Ure a couple of weeks back as my present. Excellent show it was too.
He is doing his current tour as an acoustic show, playing new songs along with a few of the biggest hits from his Visage & Ultravox days. You wouldn't think Fade to Grey, or Vienna (both written for electronic keyboard/synthesizer) could work as acoustic tracks ......... with backing from a violin, they work as well as the original recordings.
Anyhooo, once again .......
