SoO 2016
So another belting for the Blues coming up. Tried and tested class of the Maroons will be far too strong.

Not sure about that, but we will certainly be clustered around the TV (and heater) tonight.

Re: SoO 2016
NSW 1-12 is probably the best he could get. The markets seem to think it will be a pretty even contest.
Will probably throw money on the draw.

Re: SoO 2016
The refereeing has been dreadful in this game.

Were the Blues on the wrong end of said reffing? 6-4, ay? Easy to see how some dodgy reffing may have cost one side or the other.

Re: SoO 2016
so the usual then: Qld win, refs are terrible, Ch9 coverage is biased and hopeless.

Even horrendously biased umpiring couldn't help NSW this time.
Pathetically whining about 'a disallowed try' that was at best a foot short of the line ... a new low for the pastel scum.

Re: SoO 2016
Did NSW ever get back 10m in defence? They seemed to be back no more than about 7m at any stage

Re: SoO 2016
Not that he needed it but JT's rep as a high quality human being just grew more last night - at the end of his post match interview on the field, he adds this:
“I just want to say a quick hello to the Aurukun State School,” Thurston said.
“There’s obviously been a lot of trouble up there, so to all the students there, I just want you to believe in yourselves and keep turning up to school.”
Meanwhile, Sam Thaiday was making jokes in his interview about losing his virginity.

Re: SoO 2016
LATSB etc
Wally the Sydney game is the same every year. They have one one year as a result but it's a bit like Indian cricketers playing and winning at home when everything is in their favour and getting smashed every time they play without favourable conditions and Reffing. Except NSW don't even win at home as reliably as the Indians. After 10 years of almost unbroken failure you think they'd learn.
