Australia v South Africa, 2nd Test, Hobart, 12-16 November, 2016
Guess I'll start the actual T2 thread. Can't have a poll at the top of each page making for really long pages.
So no changes to the Aus side. Abbott for Stain for the victorious SAffers?

Pretty academic really. Unless the weather saves us the result is going to be the same.

He is 95% according to the blurb.

I was assuming Morkel wasn't quite ready.

So with Burns/Ferguson replacing Marsh, is it the end of Shaun's test career?

Certain whispers are getting louder - is there a fraction too much friction surrounding Smith/the Aussie team atm?

We can only hope.

Probably the two most in form batsmen at the moment are Shy'te & Beetle but our selectors have their heads shoved so far up their arses that their selections are impossible. Marsh & Waugh would rather lose tests than be proven they are wrong imho.

The ball will swing and we'll be skittled, right?
I hear you, BD. Victoria wins back to back Shields and our batsmen don't get a look in.

The Australian body language on the field was terrible yesterday and Smith didn't seem to be doing anything to pick them up.
Reminded me of SA v England last year, under AB's captaincy.

Sniffy has lost 9 from his last 10 as Queeg.
Vague should go the Martin route and retire from all forms of cricket.
truffles could do worse than initiating an inquiry into. oz cricket

Did Bog get injured fielding? I haven't heard anything.
I'd open with Ooze and firm up the middle order with Ferguson, but you can bet they'll go the other way - a straight swap, Monty for Bog in the opening slot. Monty will be caught at 3rd slip for less than 10 trying to glide Verny.
How bad is Vague's hammy?

Yes, Marsh injured fielding on day 1. Not sure about Voges. Might be tightness.

Burns scored 4 & 7 & Ferguson scored a duck in their last Shield game so as long as the selectors continue to pick sides on reputation alone i'd say Marsh is pretty safe.
