Re: Has Mugabe finally lost it?
Given that most countries who have lost their despots in the last few years have descended into civil war and anarchy, I am sort of hoping the old prick lives a few more years yet.

Who's in line to take over from Mugabe when he dies? Will the opposition see it as a chance to conduct a coup?

Input on Q1:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/robert-mugabe-dont-try-to-choose-my-successor-zimbabwes-president-91-warns-zanupf-members-10353913.html
Q2:
???
Mugabe's thug party has driven decent opposition from the field, it would seem, so as usual after such a despotism, it tends to be either more despotism, or a savage civil war filling any vacuum. The despotism kills off peaceful democratic dispute, beyond its own term (is the common development).

I was under the impression that the Mugabe dynasty would continue as the old bugger's
Missus had designs upon taking up the leadership as he slipped away (geddit?).

Mugabe might have lost it but fellow despot Kim Jong Un goes from strength to strength:

You are demeaning the performance of the Great Leader.
Insurrection!
Are you inferring that he could not take two wickets per delivery? Fool! He did it four times in an over! Four times in an over! Western imperialist dogs dream of double wicket maidens, but SUPREME LEADER HAS MASSIVE BALLS!
BLAM.
Two kidneys available for our program, nurse.

Re: Has Mugabe finally lost it?
Sage point. It is entirely possible to take 10 wickets in an over, but if 4 wickets fell to a bowler on wides (stumped, hit wicket) the analysis should be 10-4 ... the 'convoy' analysis.
Potentially there could be an interesting hat-trick analysis ... 0.0 - 0 - 3 - 3

Do you think the ECB is checking to see if he has English ancestry? Or South African ancestry, which as everyone knows, counts as the same for us.

Apparently* he's been forced to quit by the army. He'll be given safe passage to South Africa.

Ah, an NTR I see.
I didn't read the "Is Bob on the way out?" thread because I thought it was about a crackdown on illegal internet downloading.

He's now under house arrest but the military is still insisting it's not a coup.

Re: Has Mugabe finally lost it?
All over for the tyrant?
"Zimbabwe's ruling party has dismissed President Robert Mugabe as its leader, appointing former vice-president Emmerson Mnangawa in his place, the head of the country's influential liberation war veterans said.
Mr Mugabe's wife Grace has also been expelled from the ZANU-PF party, veterans leader Chris Mutsvangwa said, adding that processes to remove the 93-year-old as President would now begin.
Attendants at the meeting sang and danced in celebration after the decision."

Will it mark a new beginning for Rhodesia?

Re: Has Mugabe finally lost it?
Reports this morning that Mugabe is not going to stand down which means he will be impeached. Its going to get messy.
Re: Has Mugabe finally lost it?
Who's got him in the death thread this year? Suspect an unnatural death looms; he may even be hoping for this as his way of securing an enduring martyr's legacy. Qunt.
