Margaret Fulton. 94. Good innings for someone, whom if she sampled her recipes should have been dead of heart disease years ago. But died happy.

I assume she's going to be cremated, covered in butter.

Complete with pineapple rings.bto be fair she was not a bad cook of offal and "dainties'. (Cakes, iirc).
Charmaine Solomon tells a couple of funny stories about Fulton.
After migrating here, Solomon worked a s a typist at Women's Weekly or Day and did a bit of work with Fulton. On discovering what a ripping cook Solomon was, Fulton allowed her one week a year to run some low heat curry recipes.
After the one week Charmaine went back to typing.
And RIP and kudos.. Fulton did help move Oz on from grilled chops and four veg.

An AAW cookbook from the seventies is still my go to for comfort food. And only a slightly less chance of killing you than the CWA cookbook. Had a good international section too, opened up my world.

For years on end until GSC arrived Sam, already well into his 30 s, was practically Qld's batting in its entirety.
I notice one of his rivals for the Test opening spot neither of them ever managed, John Csusby of SA, one of the worst fieldsmen and slowest runners between wickets of his era, also died recently. RIP Sam and Caus.

Roger Davis, the bloke who caught Sobers but fell over the fence making it a six (5th ball from memory) probably deserves some of the credit.
Didn't Nash suffer two 36 from 6 onslaughts?
RIP.

Sobers ha no class, should have stopped the humiliation after the fifth ball. Wonder if that was what Hayes did?
