It’s pretty dire here at the ground. Happily they haven’t bowled 30 overs yet so I am at least looking st a half refund. That said, we haven’t made the follow on yet so England aren’t out of this.

Just back from the footy and just checked the score...my buoyant mood after a win has evaporated.
- Sandcroft failed again - well there is a shock
- Koala makes a start and bombs out in the 30s in IRBell style
- Head bombed but has some credits

All up to Wade and Smith and the tail to scrabble together some runs.

Unlikely. They’re taking tea now and in theory have 3 hours after that to get back on. They are 4 overs short of not having to give 50% refunds for the day so they will probably leave it as late as possible.

Pretty easy when he’s also virtually outscoring our numbers 1-11 combined.

You only need one batsman, as long as a couple of the tailenders can hang around with him for a bit. It’s likely to be a batsman’s day tomorrow, and I’ve absolutely no belief in our batting line-up’s ability to stick around for a day after that.
