You'd have to think Abbas will return for the Wackies.

For Aus, Paine seem to be troubled by right hand injuries. Apparently* he's carrying two busted fingers from the Oval Test.

Forecast for Test:

Fri - 23 - Shower or two developing
Sat - 19 - Possible shower
Sun - 19 - Showers
Mon - 20 - Shower or two
Tues - 21 - Possible shower

All those "possibles" might help the game go beyond 3 days, but the Wackies won't like the cold.

Very fluent knock by the Grub and an early struggle that turned into eventual fluency for Shrapnel (impressive the way he fought through his early innings issues was quality).

To get 1-302 in just 73 overs is outstanding.

Unlike previous Pink Ball Tests, once the lights took effect not much movement of the Ball. Will be very interesting to see what happens when Aus are Bowling.

Shrapnel's dismissal was clearly a case of overconfidence when seeing the ball like footy. Wasn't full enough to drive.

But great knock again by the young man.

And this Warner chap seems OK.
