No Cameron Green then.
Surely he'll be a sub, 'for the experience'.

I would have hoped selecting people on potential would be a thing of the past when Chappell left.

Results plus potential?

I notice the squad of 13 is named for the first two tests, with the possibility of squad changes and a spinner added before the Sydney game.
Is Pattinson or Neser (would be a debut) more likely for Melbourne? I'm thinking Neser.
Hopefully no SOK for Sydney. I'd rather Agar, or Bryce McGain.

Holland hasn't sucked this year has he? Of course, Warney was talking about Swepson yesterday.
Why wouldn't the Big 3 quicks play in Melbourne as well?

Perth and Melbourne are very close together. I suspect there will be some 'player management', 'rotation', and resting of one of the big 3, probably Starc.

Battle for the distant number 2 slot? Have to strongly favour Australia on home pitches, though the Snoozers are a tough side who you can never write off.

10 days is a fair bit of time for R&R. I think any resting will depend on the result in Perth.

Whateley and Crash had Swepson (Schweppes?) on SEN today, he's come under Warnie's wing, but GW said he thought they will prob go for Agar despite lack of wickets At least no mention of the dreaded Soak.

At least there's some anticipation and excitement ahead of this series. Pakistan delivered as expected.
It could be fifty degrees in the middle during the first few days.

The advantage of D/N cricket. The temperature for the day will be at maximum (39-40C) at the start of play and cool down to mildish (28-32C) temps by the middle of the "day's" play.

Hit tossing is fine. What he does after that is another matter.
Surely not even he can stuff this one up?

Williamson called incorrectly.
Wicket looks pretty flat and Warner has started solidly.
