Don't remember, but it could have been me. I have always been fond of Hendrix' Purple Haze. Someone was calling him Haze and for me Purple was a natural extension.
I also like the old expression, "in the purple".
Oddly enough, yesterday I listened to the Kronos Quartet's version of Purple Haze. Kronos is not to everyone's taste, but for anyone who does like them look it up on ewetube and give it a crack.

Aus will be looking to knock over the Sheep by the 1st break and then bat to acquire a massive target and give themselves a day and a half to remove the Kiwis.
Ross Taylor, BJ Watling and Mitchell Santner will have a say in that, but with just 3 bowlers Australia can't possibly enforce the follow-on if they limit the Kiwis to 217 or less.

For whatever reason that I cannot fathom, Starc is twice the bowler at night than during the day.
Too lazy to look it up but I was a bit disappointed in the size of the crowd last night. I really thought it would be jammed pack given day/night and the quality of the Opposition.

Never could understand watching golf as a spectator. Done it a few times and found it boring. The only sports not enhanced by TV are cricket and Aussie rules.
