I propose a three match ban for lardie for discriminating on the basis of colour.

It's funny - for every pair of odd socks in my drawer, I have another pair just next to it.

lardy, these odd socks, have you got a purple one with Buttercup from the Power Puffgirls, a pink one with Eyore, a yellow one with sparkly stars and a black pair with pink insets for the heel and toe? Also if you're missing socks that are black cotton and ribbed and rather large I think I might be able to throw light on things, the shift in the time and space continuem that starts in my washing machine possibly ends in yours and vice versa......

It appears we're not alone in this problem!

Update: it's a losing battle

Just buy your socks in multiple pairs of identical patterns.

That way, you can always find a pair, until you're down to one sock...
