An in-form Smudge and NoShow might help.
An opener performing would also be useful.

FFS why do they keep playing Reeks? When was the last time he actually did anything?
Re: Current International One Day Cricket
LOL, I have called Reeks the worst Aus player ever endlessly. He is hella rubbish. Must be bonking a selector's daughter (or son).

Aussies struggling chasing Bangers total of 131.
Relying on [cough] Mitch Marsh to get us home.

Just in time for the World Cup.
Seriously though, we should keep the best guys back at home for the Ashes.

Hard to disagree.
Let's just accept we are rubbish at Hit & Giggle Clown Cricket and put our eggs in the Test basket.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
You don’t need to play anything like a full-strength team for the Ashes, especially if half our first choice players opt out. Might as well focus on getting better at the white ball formats!

Is that a real possibility?

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Well, there is talk that if families aren’t allowed into Australia then a number of players may choose not to go. No names quoted yet, though obviously Stokes has to be a very big doubt. And if reluctance is widespread enough then it’s possible the series could be in doubt in terms of even going ahead.JGK wrote:beamer wrote:You don’t need to play anything like a full-strength team for the Ashes, especially if half our first choice players opt out. Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Talk about not learning from your shitness in the opening game.
Aus managed 7-121 in 20 overs. LOL - how crap are we at this format.
Jesus, Mitch (how shit am I) Marsh has top scored in the past 2 innings. [Groan] at how crap we are.
Anywho, well done to the Bangers.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Can we have a multi-format Ashes starting from this winter? Only way it will be a contest.
