After watching the ODIs overnight, I guess everyone is asking the same question. Is Towhid Hridoy destined to be the next batting star for Bangladesh? With a few of the current team either recently retired or approaching retirement, they certainly need some new talent.

Stokes announces his ODI return with an England record 182. Had time left to make it a double, we were actually bowled out with 11 balls remaining but the Snoozers subsided to a 181-run defeat, Woakes doing the damage with the ball. I suppose if Stokes had got a duck, we’d have lost by one run

AC seals his starting spot with a classy century… England still make hard work of batting out the overs, but another 300+ total will be tough for the Snoozers to chase down.

NZ subside again to a 100-run defeat. Little resistance from them in the last three games.

We still have Ireland to face, with Roy struggling to prove his fitness.

congrats to Adam Zampa FFS, for not pushing Mick Lewis FFS out of the record books

Special mention to Bangladesh who defeated India by 6 runs in their Asia Cup game although India were not at full strength having already qualified for the final against Sri Lanka.

Young Bangladesh pace bowler, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, impressed many with 2/32 on debut.
