Halfway through the 1st match (1st T20) England have set Aus 170 to win. Tough ask.

With 2 points each for the 6 one dayers and 4 for the Test, England could be away to a 2 point start here.

England could outdo the men’s recent showing in the space of 40 overs!

While my somewhat tongue-in-cheek suggestions of making the men’s Ashes multi-format might be sacrilege, it probably would be the only chance England had of being successful away from home. Or maybe even at home, the way things are headed…

Maybe 170 wasn’t quite such an imposing score, then. Being made mincemeat of by a McGrath is a familiar feeling (surprised to discover she’s unrelated!)

Aussie girls 5-292 in the Test after being 3-43. Haynes (86) and Lanning (93) righted the ship and Gardner and McGrath are going on with it.

Yeah, 2 late wickets not a great end to the day for Aus.

Hopefully we can scratch up 350+ and bowl well tomoz.

It's an impressive crash from England, though.

Wow, cruising at 3-218 then lost 6 for 26 and had to cling on for 2 overs to save the match.

Points score in Ashes is 6-4 to Aus as a result of today's drawn Test.

Aus need one victory in the remaining 3 ODIs to retain the Ashes.

Well, by the laws of the game they’re not wides… had almost forgotten about Boringline, it was the King of Spain’s greatest moment, the only Test bowler to get Tendulkar stumped I think!

Watched a lot of the Test. A thrilling draw was probably the right result. Yet again long form cricket showed it is the best form.
