Tiffin plague strikes Melbourne footpaths
just saw a pedestrian jumping out of the way of an Its Tiffin Time trike - on the footpath of course...rider unamused when advised to "get on the road you coward", by me...
are other cities similarly plagued by tiffin trikes?...we already have a plague of cyclists riding on footpaths - all of which is illegal

sorry zat....just blew a pffuffer valve
tiffin is an Indian snack delivery system recently introduced to melb...guys on trikes deliver ordered indian lunches to workplaces - not a bad idea but poorly executed...
the riders have the manners of Bhaji and barge along footpaths endangering walkers....this is a bit of Indian culture not required

Horrie: This is the best explanation
Most common meaning of tiffin in the north implies an Indian meal with dal, vegetables, roti (the unleavened bread), pickle, all in a container. In the south, it's more a snack.

very droll - but not a festival I would want to attend given my all rounder status in riling tiffin riders, defenders of the caste sytem and Zimmy

I continue to live in hope that an Aussie will be exciting, despite the vast evidence to be found on here that it's nigh on a futile hope.
