I think the pitch and conditions will negate a runfest, and I predict that Bond will get Jayasuriya early.
Alternatively, NZ might rest Bond, as he's always prone to injury and they seem to have been reticent to risk him in meaningless encounters in the past.

For those who missed it first time round, get ready to watch Peter Fulton struggling to "read" his script in his intro vid.

Great bowling from Fernando.
If he could get it together for any number of matches in a row, he'd be a genuinely good fast bowler. It's just beyond the understanding how someone who's job it is to do it day in and day out doesn't seem to be able to.

NZzzzzz making a bitof a hash of this so far
102-4 off 12.5
SL really playing very well.
Oram finally gets a chance to show what he can do with the bat.

Snoozies get 164.
SL look like knocking that off in about 12 overs.

Aye.
Yet another T20 match decided after 5 overs of the second dig.

The sport of cricket is going to be much poorer when Jaysuriya eventually hangs the boots up for good.

Highest partnership for the SL 1st wicket in T20 beating 75 by the same pair against England at The Rosebowl last year.

PC Plod AKA 007 doing his best to prolong Jayasuriya's career though....which is nice of him.
NZ right back in it taking the first wicket at 82 of 7.3 overs.

If the 1st team makes a mediocre score, unless the team batting second loses early wickets its game over

Oooh, I must've picked up some points today. Taylor, Vettori, Oram, Jayawardene - good times.
