Throw Ian Bell (the worst of them all) into the mix, and that's a hell of a middle order.

That trio could rival even Pakistan's middle order of recent years for run-out potential... and there's no excuse for it when players are not built like Inzamam!

Run-outs are unavoidable on occasions, sometimes you have to take on the throw when under pressure to score quickly but you should be making them hit directly to stand a chance of getting you out. Mix-ups are just inexcusable, and lose you tight games just like no-balls, wides and dropped catches etc. in the field do.

In Shah's defence, he's pretty much the new boy - hasn't batted with Pietersen at all in his career until lately. In fact he hasn't batted much with anyone save for the odd game here and there.

Takes a bit of getting used to. Especially as he's not exactly Speedy Gonzalez.
