Pollock: poms to struggle with Protean pace

He also alludes to the fact that the skipper has matured since the days of calling his opposite number gay.
Personally I tend to agree with Donald that SA will struggle with English pace, especially Sidebottom's.

How does this thread get 65 views in about 8 minutes when there are only a couple of us logged in?

should be a good series. both teams have good-ish batting and bowling, certainly wont be a 500 plays 550

Yeah, I agree. Is Fox covering this in Aus, I wonder? You'd expect so.The One wrote:should be a good series. both teams have good-ish batting and bowling, certainly wont be a 500 plays 550

I'm pretty sure Fox will cover it, it always covers the whole English test summer. The one day matches might be in jeopardy because of the Olympics though.

Yes. No news on how much of it will be delayed until 2am due to the ANZ netball championships, however.

I think what is more prudent is the lack of shoite being sprouted by our camp at the moment.
I get the feeling they are in bullish mood, and we know we are farked!!?

I thought it was an Aussie tradition for ex players to come out of the woodwork and say how crap the English are?

ANY batting lineup would have problems dealing with bowling that constantly changes its shape and appearance.

[Keegan]I would love it if we beat the South Africans. Love it. [/Keegan]
It'd be great to see that twattish cyber-dickhead taken down a peg or two.

You realise you are setting yourself up for a fall if England slump to 87-8 at lunch on the first day?

Isn't it about time one of England's ex players came out and made a provocative comment? I'd love to see the headline- 'Botham- South Africa will be worried about choking' or 'Willis- South Africa's batting looks thin, as does Jacques Kallis's latest girlfriend'.
