Yep, without a doubt. And in their lieu, Gambhir and Karthik (both useless ODI players, not good enough in any discipline) should be dropped, though I doubt it'll happen.

Manoj Tiwary too should make a comeback, provided he is fit.

Apparently Dhoni is all set to get ODI captaincy, while Kumble has thrown in his hat for test captaincy.

He managed no more than a handful of overs at decent pace and Venkatesh Prasad, the bowling coach, questioned the "intensity level" with which he was operating.

The timing and manner of Prasad's statements - openly to the media, midway through the series - were surprising but it's indicative that the team may have run out of patience with Munaf.

He needs a strong captain. They really should stick with him. Too talented to be wasted.

Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir are bad picks, while RPS and Sree would be cannon fodder on Indian pictches for the likes of Gilly, Symonds and Hayden.

Sehwag very unlucky to miss out, especially when you see guys like Karthik and Gambhir in the team.

All in all a good selection with some iffy picks.

Sharma, Tiwary or Badrinath should have had a place.

I'm not so sure. After watching him in the last few series I doubt whether he loves the game and I think he see's it as a job.

Prasad is right, the intensity and desire to play for the team just doesn't seem to exist.

Both absolutely hopeless fielders and bats.

As for their primary discipline of bowling, well both seem to be extremely lazy to work hard on it and their fitness.

Sehwag and other batsmen WILL come in the team from 4th ODI onwards because some batsmen who are in the team right now will certainly be rested!

Same with bowlers too.

But I'm worried about Dhoni who has played every match of every format till now since the SA series last year. There is a serious danger of burn-out here.

He's the WK, he has to play every match. And anyways, he's 25-26 yo, should really last now.
