Measuring how far the sixes go Empty Measuring how far the sixes go

How can it possibly be accurate? Can they accurately measure how far a six has gone if it goes out of the ground and lands in a nearby hot dog stand? Or how about the one's that hit the roof of the stand. The stand has probably stopped them from travelling another 10 metres or so. For example, im sure that Morkel's sixes the other night were bigger than the one that Misbah hit today, yet according to the measurement, Misbah's six went 5 metres further than Morkels one's.

It's all a bit of fun I guess, but I cant see how these measurements can be anywhere near accurate.

Don't they have a hawk-eye thing-y that shows the boundaries hit with colours, in a virtual cricket field? Use that probably.

Yes, they showed you it on Sunday. It looked like a large pair of binoculars, made from a cereal packet.
