Re: County Championship Finale 2007
Looks like it's between Durham and Sussex now. Should be Sussex as long as it doesn't rain all day tomorow.

Here's hoping for an act of god hitting Hove tomorrow, like a day long deluge, a hurricane, an earthquake, or even more outrageous Moeen Ali and Gazza Batty batting all day.
Re: County Championship Finale 2007
Sh!t, I realised how much I hate Sussex. Didn't use to, but I'd even take Wancashire winning the title and you know what a bunch of cnuts they are.
Re: County Championship Finale 2007
489 for Lancs to win the title then.
Should be interesting as they've got to go for it.

489 to win.
I bet Lancashire are cursing Chris Schofield's call up to the England T20 squad even more now...

Mark Chilton crabs it & then walks off with 6 overs left and a spinner to face
Trying to win it sat in the dressing room. clever...

Anyone hoping Worcs. will deny Sussex the championship are, I'm afraid, going to be sadly dissapointed: 190 - 5 with a day to go to avoid an innings defeat - it ain't going to happen:pale:

It's looked odds on as soon as Sussex made 530 tbh
Was quite humourous to see Chilton flapping his arms about asking Ramps when they were about to declare!

Laxman and Law the last hopes for Lancashire . . . County Cricket really needs to lose some of the overseas players . . .

T'was I've been watching this rather than the T20's
Couple of needless wickets thrown away near the end killed them - Chapples in particular

Been some real trademark chokes this week!
Fair play to Lancs they did very well to get close and seeing Cork out there trying to thrash the last few runs brought back memories of a few England tests of old. Especially that one at Lords against the Windies.
