Well at least we won something. Wallabies beat All Blacks 27-19 to take out the championship.
In another suprise Argentina handed the wooden spoon to the 'Boks by beating them 37-25.

Always difficult to win at Eden Park but on yesterdays effort i'd say we are in with a chance.

No surprise in the Bok game. The bizarre selections over the past month have led to this.

Not really Vilks. The problems in the front row, the lunacy of picking three fetchers as the loose forwards, the slowness of the scrum half, the continual playing players out of position in the backs. The mysterious love affair with Jean de Villiers, to say nothing of Meyer's obsession with veteran players. The writing has been on the wall for 3 years. Personally I wrote off the WC last years. We will be lucky to progress past the quarters.

I watched this game with my South African host after returning from Trent Bridge.
Fair to say neither of us were happy with the sporting outcomes yesterday. However a fantastic barbecue/braai with red wine, and a bonfire to satisfy any and all pyromaniac tendencies put the world right again.

Had a beer with Hass in the White Hart pub in Aldgate today and couldn't believe it when he told me won the 2nd Bloodyslow match. I thought that had become an impossibility.

It was just the first one Skulls. We still have to win next week to take the Bledisloe.

Re: Rugby Championship
just watched this again. all blacks gave it to us. so many handling errors and dan carters kicking was so substandard youd almost think he was deliberately throwing the game
they wont play that badly two games in a row. wed have to step up a lot to have any sort of chance at eden park

My bad, Mr D. I assumed when he said we need to win at Eden Park that it was 1-1.

The Rugby Championship & Bledisloe were shortened this year because of the WC later in the year.
Re: Rugby Championship
Our first chance to take the Bledisloe in years & they play Quade Cooper....FFS!!!

...and Cooper gives away a penalty try.& is sin binned ...thanks you fu**ing useless kiwi hack...now fu*k off & with the grace of God you will never wear & Wallaby jersey again.
Re: Rugby Championship
Coopers craphouse antics have opened up the floodgates for the Blecks. They are now walking away with it. Not that i expected the Wobblies to win at Eden Park but i thought they would at least make a game of it.
Re: Rugby Championship
At least you won't be losing to Argentina today.
